Dana McMillan, BA, RMT
Dana's passion for sports led her to purse and receive a Specialized Honours BA in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. The knowledge gained in anatomy and physiology only furthered her interest in healthcare and the powerful ability of the human body to heal itself naturally. In 2000, she graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy on the Dean's list. She has worked in spa, sport/fitness and multi-disciplinary settings and taken a variety of continuing education courses over the years.
She believes in tailoring a massage towards the individual needs of each client by using the fundamental modalities within Swedish massage to get the best results possible. Her focus is to create a positive impact on her clients health and well-being by minimizing muscle tension, relieving stress, managing chronic pain and speeding recovery of soft tissue injury.
Dana has particular interest in treating neck and headache tension, postural/repetitive strain from the activities of daily living and pregnancy massage.
Dana enjoys working in a smaller community atmosphere and looks forward to treating new and existing clientele at One Tree Massage Therapy.
